He was devoted to his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Tim cared for his father at the end of his life.
Tim enjoyed a career in the restaurant business, most recently at Jimmy Kelly’s in Nashville.
He was a fervent Notre Dame fan, and belonged to the Knights of Columbus and Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sisters Suzanne (Jim) Hodges and Terri (Steve) Meyer; nieces and nephews; Jen Hodges (Jordan “Bunny” Shouse), Danny Hodges, Megan (Cody) Stovall, Rick (Sydney), Molly (Jake) Joyner; great nieces and nephews Lincoln and Lucy Stovall, Scottie Meyer and Josie Joyner.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Ann McCarthy, and brother John Edward McCarthy.
Visitation Monday November 29, 2021 from 10:00am-12:00 noon at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Mass will begin at Noon at Church. Burial following Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or Father Ryan High School.
