Troy Baker

Age 85, departed this earthly life for his heavenly home on August 5, 2014.

Mr. Baker was owner of Troy Baker Construction, Inc. for over fifty years. He built the first building for Two Rivers Baptist Church and for Donelson Christian Academy. As a charter member of Two Rivers Baptist church for over 43 years, Mr. Baker held numerous roles, including Deacon, Sunday school teacher, and trustee. He was most recently a member of Lincoya Hills Baptist Church. He served in the US Army 101st Airborne Division during the Korean War. Mr. Baker loved his Lord, family and friends in that order.

Survived by wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Dot) Baker; sons, Steve (Linda) Baker and Mark (Beth) Baker; grandchildren, Andy, Kaitlyn and Brenden Baker; sister, Faye Hendrix, and brother, Kenny Baker; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 12 p.m. Friday at Hermitage Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Evans officiating. Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Visitation with family 4-7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday at Hermitage Funeral Home.
