Vernon Malone Calhoun

Mr. Calhoun was born October 4, 1930 in Monticello, MS. He served for four years in the United States Air Force and worked as a registered pharmacist for 48 years.

Mr. Calhoun is preceded in death by his sisters, Opal Griffin and Marie Baggett; and his brother, Paul Calhoun.

Mr. Calhoun is survived by Eunice Calhoun, his loving wife of 66 years; daughters Ellen Satter and Laura Castleman; grandchildren Jason Castleman and Rachael Crone; great grandchildren Noah Crone, Drew Crone, Cash Crone and Jude McFarlin; brother Jerald Calhoun; and sister Daisy Orth and his faithful cat, Leia.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at 2:00pm Friday, May 21, 2021 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Rev. Jud Hayes officiating. Entombment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends at 1:00pm Friday, May 21, 2021 until time of service.
