Virginia Ruth Petty, Age 85 of Hermitage, TN. Passed away January 2, 2014. She is survived by son, Stan Petty (Debbie); daughters, Bonitia Guffee (Maurice Smith) and Juanita Holmes (Steve); granddaughters, Nicole Williams (Clay), Kelley Foster, Tracey Holmes Taylor, and Leslie Oliver (David); grandson, Ryan Stanton (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Gracie & Evan Williams, Kyla Foster, Riley & Easton Stanton, Eli, Sam, Abby & Anna Oliver. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Bontrager officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Friday, January 3, 2014 and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
