Walter E. Diegmueller passed away December 20, 2019. Mr. Diegmueller served his country in both the Marines and Army. He retired from the Army and worked for the State of Tennessee for 20 years as a corrections officer. In his free time he loved spending time with his family in Tennessee and Michigan. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who always had a new joke to tell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years June Esther Diegmueller; sons Walter (Cheryl) Diegmueller and Daniel (Amy) Diegmueller; grandchildren Kenneth Mason Diegmueller, Kaitlyn and Aaron Diegmueller. His is preceded in death by his parents.
Gathering of Family and Friends Friday December 27, 2019 from 1:00 pm -3:00 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00pm in the Chapel at Hermitage Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Diegmueller, Daniel Diegmueller, Jarred Groves, Chase Clapper and Ike Beeson.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his name may be made to the American Heart Association.
