Walter George Trapnell III, age 81 of Mt. Juliet passed away on March 31, 2021. He was born in Cleveland, OH and moved to Tennessee in 1973. He retired as the National Accounts Sales Representative for Eaton Corporation. He served in the US Army. He was a member of Mt. Juliet Masonic Lodge #643 F & AM and was a member of the Al Menah Temple Shrine. He enjoyed being with his family, traveling, RVing, camping and spending his winters in Texas for 16 years. He was predeceased by his parents Walter George Trapnell Jr. & Vivian Emery (John), his son Walter George Trapnell IV, siblings Gary Trapnell, Debbie (Jerry) Smith, Lori Trapnell, Larry Trapnell, Dale Trapnell, Daryl Trapnell and John Emery. He is survived by his wife of 35 yrs, Judy P. Trapnell, son Todd (Kim) Trapnell, step-son William Young III, step-son Robert (Julie) Young, sister Noreen (Rick) Gribek, brother Kenny (Lisa Ann) Trapnell, grandchildren Christopher (Jessica) Young, Walter "Quin" Trapnell V, Britney Young, Caitlin Trapnell, Hannah Trapnell, Robert "Allen" Young Jr., Brady Trapnell, Ryan Trapnell, and great grandchildren John Button IV, Lylah Button, Lydia Button, Anna Trapnell, several nieces and nephews and his loving fur babies Tex and Louis. There will be a visitation with the family on Monday April 5, 2021 from 12 pm until service time at 2 pm. Celebration of Life service will be at 2 pm in the chapel at Hermitage Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or the Masonic Widows and Orphans Fund thru your local masonic lodge.
