Wayne Clark Tippit, age 83 of Hermitage, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Hermitage to the late Hugh Blair Tippit and Lexie Corrine Cook Tippit. Wayne worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his four children, Kim (Larry) Bryan, Todd (Jeana) Tippit, Timothy (Angie) Tippit, and Kristen Webster; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Wayne’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial & Honor Gifts, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38148.
