Willie Ruth Hagar Boner, age 80, passed away October 31, 2016. Preceded in death by husband, Lee G. Boner; parents, Emmett and Nova Jenkins Hagar; brothers, Ewell, Henderson, William and Houston Hagar; sisters, infant Lillian Roberta Hagar, Lucille Hall, Pauline Kelley Wells and Hilda Barnes.
Survived by sons, Thomas L. Boner and Donald R. Boner; grandson, Allen L. Boner; great grandson, Jayden M. Boner; brother, John (Mary) Hagar; sisters, Frances Bruce and Louise (Robert) Davis.
Ruth was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She retired from Danner Co in 2001. Previous employed by C.P. Jacobs & Associates CPA.
Visitation Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4-8pm and one hour prior to service on Thursday. Funeral Service Thursday, November 3, 2016 10 am with Rev Mike Smith officiating. Interment to follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens with nephews serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Binkley-Steele Hagar Cemetery c/o Melvin Hagar Cemetery fund or charity of your choice.
