Albert C. Nelson, of Old Lyme, died on March 10, 2011, at Bride Brook Health Care in Niantic.

He was born on February 7, 1917, the son of Sem and Halma Nelson.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife Emily; his son William Nelson of Old Lyme; his daughter Elizabeth Nanni of Providence and two granddaughters.
