

Trinity College and served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, including a tour on the
carrier WASP during the Cuban missile crisis. He had a successful thirty year
career in advertising, retiring as a Vice President of Grey Advertising. Tony became a valued member of
the Lyme, Connecticut community. He actively pursued his love of art, founding the
Connecticut Impressionist Art Trail and serving as President of the Board of the Florence
Griswold Museum. He was Chairman of the capital campaign which was instrumental
in transforming the institution into a major regional art museum. He also served as President
of the Board of High Hopes Therapeutic Riding and as a board member of Musical Masterworks
which brings world class chamber music concerts to Old Lyme. Tony deeply loved
his family and is survived by Sandy, his wife of 49 years, daughters Lisa Reneson and
Dana Evans, their husbands, Aaron and John, and grandchildren Olivia and Chase Reneson
and Phoebe and Archer Evans. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational
Church in Old Lyme, Connecticut on Saturday, March 28th at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Florence Griswold Museum, High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, and Lyme Ambulance Association or a charity of your choice. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, Old Lyme is handling the arangements
