

Vic was a resident of Old Lyme for 36 years on Rowland Rd. He was born on September 14, 1943 in Quincy, MA the son of Carroll F Clark and Dorothy (Kewley) Clark. He graduated from Waterford High School in 1962. He honorably served our country in the US Army, active duty from 1964 to 1966, stationed in Berlin, Germany at “Checkpoint Charlie”. He married Rosemary M. Kennison on April 4, 1970 in New London. Together they have a son, Troy. Vic and Rosemary were happily married for 45 wonderful years.
Vic was self-employed as an owner-operator cross country truck driver for 38 years leasing to both North American Van Lines and PFT Roberson. In 1999, after 11 years with PFT Roberson, he was presented with the Million Mile Safety Award for Outstanding Performance as a Professional Driver with 1,000,000 Perfect Miles. He and his wife Rosemary loved their time on their sailboat “Rosemary's No”, sailing the Eastern Coastline and British Virgin Islands.
Vic’s hobbies included his love for Sailing, Photography, self-taught diesel mechanic, reading his many books, as well as being an Amateur Military Historian.
Vic is survived by his loving wife Rosemary, their son Troy Clark of Old Lyme, his sister Renee Target of ME. He also leaves behind 16 nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in lieu of flower in Vic's memory to the Vic Clark Memorial Fund, 81 Rowland Rd, Old Lyme, CT. 06371 for the acquisition and placement of a memorial bench inside the “Sun Room” of the Lawrence Memorial Cancer Center, Waterford.
