She was born on February 19, 1929, in Hartford, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Rak.
Mrs. Nelson was the widow of Albert C. Nelson.
She is survived by her son William Nelson of Old Lyme; her daughter Elizabeth Nanni of Providence; and her two great granddaughters.
