Mrs. Carlson was born on December 22, 1938 in Lyme, CT the daughter of Joseph and Lottie Hayes Rand.
Mrs. Carlson is survived by her three sons, Frederick Kelsey Jr., Roy Kelsey and Michael Kelsey of Old Lyme, her two brothers Nelson Rand and Russell Rand of Old Lyme, two sisters Daphne Babcock of Old Lyme and Lottie Clemens of Glastonbury. She is predeceased by her brother Joseph Rand Jr. and her sisters Gertrude Ruddy and Susan Suits.
