Gertrude Kwasniewski

Ms. Kwasniewski was born on April 11, 1915 in Norwich, CT the daughter of Paul and Teophilia Kwasniewski. She and her sister owned and operated the Old Lyme Beauty Shop for over 40 years. She devoted her life to her church and her family. She was an active member of Christ the King Church in Old Lyme as a member of the Ladies Guild. Also a 70 year member of the Old Lyme Grange. She deeply loved her family, extended family and all of her friends.

Ms. Kwasniewski is survived by her many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her two brothers and three sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 22, 2015 at 10:30am in Christ the King Church, Old Lyme. Interment will follow in Duck River Cemetery.
