

Mr. St. Germain was born on April 30, 1939 in New London the son of Albert and Blanche McDoogle St. Germain. He married Judith Ann Jackson on February 20th, 1965, she predeceased him on November 15th 2003. He was employed as Vice President at Soneco Service/ Tilcon. He eventually retired from Tilcon in 2006.
Joseph was a father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He was an, avid gardener, creative chef, community volunteer and faithful catholic. Joseph served in the Coast Guard reserves, was on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the town of Old Lyme and volunteered at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding Center. He enjoyed watching baseball and soccer and travelling with his late wife.
Mr. St. Germain is survived by his son Jon-Paul St. Germain and his wife Katherine, his two daughters Melissa Geelan and her husband Tim and Rebecca Kuczarski and her husband Eric and his eight grandchildren. Mr. St. Germain is predeceased by his granddaughter Sophia who passed away in June of 2012. Mr. St. Germain is survived by a brother, Daniel St. Germain, and a sister Elizabeth Consolini.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10:00am in Christ the King Church, Old Lyme. Interment will follow in Duck River Cemetery.
