Mary Laura Voudren

Mary Laura Voudren (née Bennett) was called home to God at 81 years of age on August 25th, 2026 in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania. Mary was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1945 to Laura and Edward Bennett as the third of ten siblings. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from University of Saint Joseph and retired from the State of Connecticut in the 1990s. She raised her family in Old Lyme, Connecticut before retiring in Pennsylvania to be closer to her family. Among her many creative pursuits, Mary was an avid gardener, watercolor painter, and quilter. Mary is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert B. and their son, Robert H. She is survived by her daughter Linda, granddaughters Bridget (Patrick) and Deirdre (Brandon), and great-grandson Owen. Mary will be greatly missed as a devoted sibling, mother, and grandmother. Her family remembers her for her great sense of humor and her deep and curious intellect.
