Muriel L. Porsolt

She was born February 17, 1925 in Johnston, R.I., daughter of Raymond & Ruth Stone. Muriel was a printer at Middlsex Community College in NJ for 25 years. She was a member of the Old Saybrook Congrational Chruch, the Mayflower Society & The Red Hat Society of Old Saybrook & Frostproof.

Muriel was predeceased by her husband for 62 years, John Kenneth Porsolt. She is survived by her sister,Evelyn Beaumier of Providence, R.I., her daughters Carol Niles & husband Alan,of Harrisville, R.I., Jane McGarry & her husband Thomas, of Old Lyme, Ct, and a son David Porsolt & his wife Nancy of North Brunswick, NJ. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 8 greatgrandchildren.

Burial will be private. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 1 P.M. at the Old Lyme Congregational Church. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home of Old Lyme is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be given to Middlesex Hospice & Pallative Care, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, Ct 06457.
