Have just heard from a friend - so sorry to hear about Nick - I'll remember cups of tea and chats at school and Nick writing his films.  I'll also remember his stories of Romania when he was there. It seems like yesterday - RIP Nick.

Nick, I never met you but I know that you were an amazing step dad to a friend, Lauren,  who I will cherish forever, so I can't thank you enough for the joy you brought to her and her family over the years. After such a sad day I can only reflect on the wonderful people I have met, in particular your parents,  Tania, Gemma and Daniel and wish it wasn't under these circumstances. Nick and I worked together at TMC many years ago when we were both starting our careers, really clever dude and learn a lot from him in the time we were both workmates and friends. The world has lost a good man!

Nick's funeral will take place at Thanet Crematorium (CT9 4LY) on Monday 8th April at 4:00 p.m.

I feel extremely proud to have known you Nick, even for just a brief time at University. One of the nicest most genuinely kind people I've ever met. My memories are blessed with your presence, efficiency, humour and kindness, you will be greatly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time, but also with you. I worked with Nick in Pfizer, Sandwich R&D where he was Head of Communications. His loss came as a huge shock. For me Nick was always strong, confident and of course very talented. He was able to articulate the essence of what I was trying to say far better than I ever could. We explored innovative means of communication together. He was an engine of ideas and often taking the lead. When Nick said it would get done it always did. My time as Site Head was benefited and enriched greatly by working with Nick. Above all, he was a terrific guy and I greatly enjoyed spending time with him. My heartfelt thoughts go to his family. I know he will be a tremendous loss to you.

This should not be.. I 'll remember Nick for his humour, courtesy, sharp mind and commitment, ... and wish our paths had crossed longer.

Such horrendous news. The loss of a wonderful, sincere and caring man far too early from this world. Nick was a friendly face to another Brit when I moved to Pfizer. My thoughts and prayers go to his family at this difficult time. He will always be missed.

What a shock hearing this tragic news about Nick. It was only 7 months that I worked with pleasure with him as one of his direct reports in R&D communications - Unilever. Nick was for me a very nice and positive person to work with. Always well listening with great empathy. He made huge impact on me with his talent in wording beautiful English phrases. Our one to one meetings always included animated discussions on actual communication topics. The last e mail contact was Tuesday 12 March - a positive  supporting mail.

Nick was the kindest, most driven and hardest working person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The standards he set for himself were always well above anyone else's expectations, he was incredibly sensitive and caring, fun to be around and generous. I lived with Nick for a year at University in Sheffield and during that time got to know and love an amazing friend who would help someone without a second hesitation or a thought for himself. He was an amazing person to share a problem with, such a good listener and his overwhelming positivity would often pick you up and sweep you along. I remember talking to him when he first started seeing Tania, he talked about how much he loved her, how proud he was to be with her and her children. I'm so glad that Nick was surrounded by love, he was such an inspirational force, a rare man, who treated others with dignity and honour. Nick I will treasure the memories I have of you, I'm so sorry for your family that they have lost you.

A wonderful man who touched so many lives.  From the first day we met, I knew that we would be lifelong friends. Your caring demeanour meant that you would do anything for your friends and loved ones. I knew that I could always count on you for wise words and advice when I needed it the most. You will be missed by anyone that knew you.

Words can never express enough to quantify such a loss as Nick. His gentle and soft character always a pleasure to encounter. He was a true English gentleman, bringing out the best in people and will be missed in so many ways. One of my earliest memories of you was when me and Lauren came to visit mums work place where we both met you for the first time. We spent all day drawing pictures. I drew a picture of you as an astronaut and titled it as 'Nick on the moon'. I was so proud that you kept it hung up on your desk. 

My heart sinks that we will never get to see you again or hear one of your silly jokes but we all love you forever and always. X

So, so, so, sorry to hear of such a tragic loss. Nick was an amazing colleague to work with and always very kind, helpful and understanding. The world is certainly a poorer place without him.

I also was a coworker of Nick's and he was a pleasure to work with.  He was always so positive, despite all the craziness around us.  He will be missed!

He went to bat for hard-working and deserving folks who might have been ignored or lost in the bureaucracy.   A lesser man would have complained at length about the many obstructions and obstructionists he encountered.  Nick would rather roll up his sleeves and get something done. Unafraid of the challenge, he volunteered for unpleasant assignments knowing that he could make the best of difficult circumstances, for the people and the business.  In a global communications organization, his high employee engagement scores reflected the appreciation of team members he took the time to get to know as individuals.  When work was done, we enjoyed socializing over beers, laughs and friendly competition in word games, music trivia and film history.  I know that Nick

On March 15th, 1999, as a mother of three, I nervously walked into an office to start my first job in many years. I was immediately welcomed by a polite young man who introduced himself as Nick Clark. A friendship quickly formed and slowly grew into love. Nick became my best friend, my confidant, my rock, a father to my children, Gemma, Lauren and Daniel, and my husband. Almost 14 years later, on March 13th 2013, Nick was taken away from us in the most cruel way. The memories of a rich and wonderful life live on but there is a gaping hole in my heart where Nick used to be. Rest peacefully my love x
