Nicholas (Nick) Heffernan passed away at Backus Hospital on August 31st following a long illness. Nick is the beloved youngest son of Mitch and Cheryl Heffernan and brother of Bryant Heffernan, all of Lyme CT. Nick leaves behind his two dogs Willy and Roti and many members of his extended family and friends.
Nick will be remembered for his generous and kind heart, for his lifelong avoidance of having his picture taken and for his love of boating and of being in the woods with his motorcycle and UTVs. Nick was 33 years old.
