He was born on February 27, 1963, in Middletown.
Sean served on the submarine force in the United States Navy. He was employed as a letter carrier for the USPS in Waterford and he joyfully served that community for 18 years.
Sean had a deep passion for sharing his deep love for the Lord. His kindness was remarkable and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Bogan Coffey; his sons John and Hunter Coffey of Old Lyme; his daughters Brandy Coffey and Nina-Beth Aponte of Groton; his father Stanley Jasiecki of Cromwell and his brother James Coffey of Gales Ferry. He was predeceased by his parents Melvin and Cynthia Hall Coffey and his brother Thomas Coffey.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 22st at 11am in the Groton Bible Chapel, 66 Tollgate Rd., Groton. A graveside service will be held on Friday January 21st at 10am at the Connecticut Veterans Cemetery, Bow La., Middletown.
