Salem- The Funny Man Has Left the Building. We are devastated to share that Troy has moved on to his next journey. Troy resided in Salem, CT for many years and later moved to South Carolina, where he called home. He was a man with a big heart who could always make you laugh… or really piss you off. Whatever the case, he always tried to have the last word or give advice. Troy enjoyed his job at Tri-Town Foods and the people he worked with. He was a big movie buff and really enjoyed Halloween and horror movies. He was a long-time sports lover with his favorite teams being the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago White Sox. Cooking was his passion, and he was a fantastic chef. Troy had the opportunity to work in many restaurants, always picking up new tricks that he would try with new recipes or to create his own concoctions. But the thing he cherished more than anything else in the world was his four children. They were the most important thing in his life, and they absolutely adored him.
Troy leaves behind his children Joseph (JJ), Dagon, Sky, and Storm, and his best friend Jessy. He is also survived by his parents Sarah and Ed, siblings Vanessa (Jeremy) and Josh (Raechel), nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many more family and friends, who will all miss him terribly.
Calling hours will be held at the Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Ln., Old Lyme on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4:00 until 6:00pm. Celebration of Life to follow at Rogers Lake Clubhouse, 75 Rogers Lake Trail, Old Lyme. In lieu of flowers, or if you would like to donate, a collection will be taken for his children.
