She was born on March 7, 1926, in Norwich, the daughter of Edward H. Ross and Helen Brokowski Ross.
She was the widow of Fred Frank Sankow, Sr.
Mrs. Sankow was employed for many years as a bank teller at Deep River Savings Bank and New England Saving Bank.
She is survived by her son Fred Frank Sankow, Jr., and his wife Elizabeth of Lyme; her daughters Priscilla A. “Penny” Sisk of Westbrook; Joan S. Magnusson and her husband Kurt of Bremen, ME and Pam Winkelman-Etue and her husband Ronald of Ellicott City,MD; her grandchildren Scott, Chad, Stacey and Sarah Sankow, Matthew, Jessica and Lee Magnusson, Patrick and Jonathan Winkelman; her great grandchildren Morgan Sankow and Destinee and Noah Magnusson.
