Alfred G. Gibson
July 29, 1947 – February 17, 2013
Afterglow I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Al was my "brother" in Vietnam. He was my squad leader and taught me what I needed to know to make it home. He will be with me always with me.....he is not gone, he is "just walking point" for the rest of us.

Alfred was much loved by all of his family and friends. Alfred was a loving uncle to my five children, going out of his way to spend time with them when they were children. Even as an adult when we would return to OS on vacation, no visit was complete without seeing, "Uncle Alfred and Gramma." Alfred was a loving and caring son to his aged mother. Keeping a clean and loving home for her. We will miss him so very much. Love you Al
