

Anita was born in Brooklyn, New York, later moved to Valley Stream, New York and most recently resided in Westbrook CT. A scholar of language and the arts, she strongly instilled the passion for these interests in her four children and six grandchildren. These qualities, along with her giving spirit, enriched the lives of everyone she touched.
Behind the title of homemaker, she was a woman of high virtue and integrity who was unconditionally devoted to her family. She personified the true meaning of generosity, hospitality and the devotion to the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of nearly sixty years, Pasquale; her four children Ralph, wife Phyllis and children James and Faith of Islip New York; Raymond , wife Glenda and children Mackenzie and Cassidy of Libertyville Illinois; Patricia and children Danielle and Philip of Westbrook Connecticut; Joseph and wife Kathleen of Verona, New Jersey.
Calling hours will be at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook Monday, April 26, 2010 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Johns Church, 161 Main Street, Old Saybrook with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Westbrook.
