Anna Mary (Kotulski) Lamprecht of Old Saybrook, CT, wife of the late Daniel Lamprecht, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. Anna was born in Hartford, CT on May 21, 1932. She was the eldest child of the late Frank Kotulski and Anna Cuikaj and is predeceased by Brothers Frank Kotulski, Edward Kotulski, and nephew, Raymond “Butch” Kotulski. Anna grew up in Hartford and graduated from Hartford High School in 1950. She was an office manager for Sondik of CT for many years before moving to Old Saybrook, where she worked for the Hartford Courant for over 25 years. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins spent summer break down on Chalker Beach, enjoying their vacation on the Long Island Sound. She was the matriarch of the family, who loved and guided us through our lives. Holidays were always special to Anna, who everyone referred to as Auntie because she was like an aunt to everyone, but truly a mother to us all. Anna was never blessed with children of her own, however, she was fortunate to have many nieces and nephews that she helped raise and always considered them her own children. Times on Chalker Beach were special, from parties in the backyard to swimming at the beach. Anna always made you feel like you were part of her family, whether you were blood or not. She leaves behind to continue her life: A beloved sister-in-law, Lillian Kotulski also all of our lives that she touched: Roseann and Jim Schoen, Kim Hemingway, Ramos McDade, Susan and Dave Labrie, Patty and Sal Genovese, Deborah and Kevin Crandall. Also, John and Debbie Kotulski, Theresa, Daniel, Lindsay, Brittany Mullen and Adam Pearson, Edward, Kathleen, Jennifer, Jessica Kotulski and Peter Zaskey, Eddie Kotulski and Crystal White, Kathleen, Greg, Shawn, and Joshua Robertson, Joanne Kotulski Kemp, Lindsey Kendellen Kotulski, Melissa Kotulski, Raymond and Sarah Kotulski, Angie and Justin Badolato.
