

Donald W. Troxler Sr., age 68 passed away at CT Hospice on February 20, 2013. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Eunice (Sugland). Don was born in Glen Ridge N.J. on April 20, 1944.
He was the 2nd oldest, along with his identical twin brother Ronald. Don grew up in Old Saybrook, and graduated from Old Saybrook High School on 1962. And was a natural, playing basketball and soccer.
He worked at Chessebrough Ponds Co. in Clinton for over 20 years and moved on to Silgan (Monsanto) Plastics Co. until his retirerment. Don was very passionate about his faith, and always enjoyed basketball and bowling.
He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Don is survived by his loving children, Robin, Donald Jr. Eric, Debbie, Michelle, Melissa, Tara and Christopher. He is also survived by his brother and sisters Ronald, Malcolm, Gilbert, Jackie, Ethel, Elaine and Rene, and their families.

Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd. Old Saybrook Thursday February 28, from 4 to 7, with a service to start at 7.
