Evelyn Gagliardi

Evelyn Gagliardi passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Middlesex Hospital Hospice, with her cousin, nephew, and friend by her side. Evelyn was born on August 24, 1924 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Mary Bonetti. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Joseph Gagliardi, and by her beloved sister Marianne, and brother-in-law Ernest Czepiel. Evelyn is survived by her nephew Thomas Czepiel, his wife Noreen, and their daughters, Mary Kate and Brigid of Old Saybrook, CT. Evelyn was a graduate of Buckley High School, and was President of Gig Motors, Inc. in East Hartford, CT for 20 years. She will be remembered for her love for family and friends, travel, and dancing. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful, caring staff at Middlesex Hospital CCU and Hospice.
