2014. She is survived by her mother Alice Howe, father Herbert Orloff, loving daughter Sonya
Skalandunas and fiancee’ Evan Piacente and her sister Lisa Mauzy. She is also survived by her loving
nieces Elizabeth Kauffroath and Alexandria Mauzy, as well as her former step children Natalie Mislick,
Jonathan Skalandunas and Tom Skalandunas, Jr. For many years Janice was a wild life rehabilitator who
nursed many injured animals and who had successfully released many of those animals back into the
wild. Janice will always be remembered for her amazing love of her family and friends and her
