Kevin Boyle

Kevin E. Boyle; 61, of Old Saybrook, beloved husband of Gerry, passed away unexpectedly on July 28. He was born October 21 in New Haven to the late John and Eva Minutillo Boyle. He grew up in New Haven before moving to Old Saybrook in 2001. Kevin was a self-employed Home Improvement Contractor for the past 35 years. He was a proud Veteran having served in the U.S. Marines. Kevin was a loving husband, devoted to his wife and family. He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting, spending most of his leisure time in the summer on his boat. Kevin will be most remembered for the many ways he gave of himself; his incredible love and devotion to his family and many friends, his compassion, his sensitivity, his great sense of humor and his "stories". In addition to his wife Gerry of 24 years, Kevin will be dearly missed by his sister, Kathleen and her husband Paul of Branford and several nieces, nephews, cousins and uncle. Kevin was predeceased by his brother John. A Memorial Service will be held on Wed 8/7 at 10am to 12pm, as friends are asked to gather at The Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd. Old Saybrook. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
