I learned just today about Liam and wanted to pass along my thoughts and prayers to your family. I had the pleasure of working with Liam at The Hartford where he was a favorite. A smile, a warm greeting, he made everyone feel special. I knew he moved to the shoreline for another chapter, and I looked forward to catching up one day. A special person, please accept my condolences. Brian Fresher

Dear Janet and family:

It is with great regret that we must send this note after learning that Liam had passed from George yesterday. The impact of such a loss at this most important time in such a terrific family’s lives is as incomprehensible to us as it must be to you all.

With this note we send our most heartfelt prayers, sympathy and regards to each of you and will do so in the coming most difficult months as you grieve and work toward reordering your lives and family.

Liam was the great guy his obituary describes so vey aptly as is his family. We were privileged to have met him and spent some time with all of you at a couple of fun events and, of course you, working together over the years.

Again, we send our continuing prayers, support and regards now and for the difficult months ahead.

Our love to you all,
Mark and Nancy Barbieri

We were shocked to hear about Liam’s unexpected passing. Liam and Janet lived in the house behind ours in South Windsor.

Whenever we took a walk in our neighborhood, we would often encounter Liam working on his front yard. He would always greet us with a smile and a friendly hello. He was never too busy to stop and chat with us.

We hated to lose Janet and Liam when they moved away to Old Saybrook, and have missed them. However, we knew how happy they were about this move, so we were happy for them.
He died much too young. Anne and Eric Vogel

I am so saddened to hear of Liam's passing. I had the great pleasure of working with Liam at AmTrust on the Strategic Partnerships team. He was always such a kind and helpful person, always willing to step in and mentor others. He had a fantastic sense of humor. A favorite memory is when we had a team offside meeting in Chicago and at dinner that night, with about 15 of us at the table, he grabbed a bottle of A1 sauce and shook it really it strongly. Unfortunately the cap wasn't on tightly and I ended up being well marinated in A1 sauce. It became a team joke, "Liam, did you A1 anyone today?" He was good sport and we all got a lot of great laughs. I appreciates his wisdom, honestly, stories, guidance and insights. He will be greatly missed. My most sincere condolences to the whole family.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Liam's passing. I have very fond memories of the time he and I worked together at The Hartford. Actually, I was the first person he was introduced to when he was hired in Claim Vendor Management. We hit it off from the start. He used to bring his beautiful, little at the time, daughters into the office and would often stop by my desk to raid the 'candy dish' and the girls kindly called my "Mr. Minutullllooo". We also regularly ran together at lunch time and I will never forget the looks we got in the winter months when he dressed in just shorts and t-shirt while the rest of us were buddled in sweatsuit, hat and gloves! He was a remarkable person! Never saw him get upset. Always kind, respectful, great sense of humor and very smart and practical. He was highly respected by his colleagues and business partners. My deepest condolences to Janet, Meghan, Colleen, Erin, and the entire family. May wonderful memories bring you some sense of peace, knowing that he is watching down on all of you with our Lord Jesus.

Condolences to the McTeague Family.

I had the privilege of working closely with Liam during the Broadridge ERP Implementation this year. Liam was not just a colleague; he was a true ambassador for our team and an integral part of the program. His deep procurement knowledge, combined with his engaging personality, made him someone everyone turned to. He brought warmth and energy to everything he did, always ready to lend a hand and share his expertise. His dedication to enabling associates across North America was unmatched, and he had a remarkable way of making everyone feel valued.

Liam's great sense of humor brightened our days – whether he was joking about being "double parked for a meeting" or sharing his favorite saying, "I'm a Murphy, so everything that can go wrong may go wrong." His ability to bring lightness into even the most challenging situations was one of the many reasons we loved working with him.

He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the work we do and in the way he made us all feel like part of a team. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones, and we will forever be grateful for the time we had with Liam. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Meghan, McTeague Family - I was very sad to learn of your Dad, Liam's passing. Like many others, he made me feel like a long time friend from the moment I met him. My son Rob and I were lucky enough to be paired with Liam for a charity golf tournament on a very wet day several years ago. Liam's brightness and charm made the day one I will remember forever!

Erin and McTeague family- I'm so sorry for your loss. Liam was a work colleague over the past few years. I enjoyed our conversations he will be missed.

McTeague Family,
I am so saddened to hear about Liam's passing. While we only worked together at AmTrust for several months, we stayed in touch through the years afterwards. His upbeat personality, his ability to bring light into tough situations and just overall being, was something I deeply admired and will always cherish.
Liam was a fun, excellent co-worker, mentor, peer, and friend, and above all of that, a wonderful family man. He talked about you all the time... He will be missed. May you cherish all of the memories you had together and that they provide you some measure of comfort. I wish I had the words to convey my sadness and the depth of feeling I had for him.

Yours,
George French

Erin, Collen and family, we cannot express how we feel for your loss. You both always had a smile when you spoke of your dad. Our thoughts are with you, may the memories help you through this time. We are here for you, keep smiling

Erin and McTeague family- I'm so sorry for your loss. Praying for peace and comfort for you all. May the memories of your loved one's smiling face live on.

Condolences to the McTeague family. I worked with Liam a couple of years when he was with The Hartford. Always cheerful, often excitable, even when you can tell he didn't agree with you. And he knew his stuff. He was always eager to take me to the "best" pho restaurant whenever I visited Home Office. We stayed in touch after he left The Hartford - he would out of the blue send me YouTube videos of a punk band he was going to see (he played bass in a punk rock band, which automatically makes him the coolest work colleague), asking what new Vietnamese dishes to try, always pridefully talking about his wife and daughters. I looked him up in my text history to see if any our exchanges were saved. Sadly no, but the contact picture of Liam is him with the biggest, widest smile possible (and some mischief in his eyes), so that's how I'll remember him. Rest in peace, Liam. I'll be missing you.

My condolences and prayers to Liam's entire family..
So very sorry to hear of this. I worked at The Hartford, retired after 33 years. While Liam was in charge, I felt like a valued colleague, not "employee". Liam was a very special leader and person.
May the road rise to meet you, the wind be always at your back....and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. 🙏🙏❤🍀

Liam joined Broadridge in November of 2023, meaning that I didn't know Liam for very long and that he had plenty of time to make an indelible impression as an extremely positive, warm, outgoing, helpful, personable and energetic person.

Liam brought energy, character and joy to every conversation. He channeled excitement about every topic, be it work related or one of Liam's many interests. His patented "Right on!" delivered in a uniquely competent, enthusiastic and kind way, will always make me smile. From hockey to proto punk, Liam shared an amazing breadth and depth of knowledge about the things he loved, and it was always a pleasure to speak with him.

Needless to say, I was shocked to hear of Liam's untimely passing. A valued colleague and a terrific person, Liam undoubtedly will be missed. I miss him already. My thoughts and prayers are with Liam's friends and loved ones. Please accept my most sincere and heartfelt condolences.

Liam's positive energy and amiable nature brought joy to the game of golf.

My deepest sympathy to Meghan and family. Liam was a true gentleman and scholar, and I was stunned when I learnt of his untimely passing.

Let perpetual light shine upon hm. May his soul, and all the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.

I remember meeting Liam, our new neighbor, for the first time. He strode across with lawn with an enormous grin and the warmest of welcomes, and I felt so lucky to have someone so kind right next door. That's how we was in every interaction after that - friendly, fun, and the perfect neighbor. Our hearts are with Janet and the rest of his family.

Liam was a great guy who could engage in conversation with anyone. He was always positive and you walked away feeling better, no matter how your day was going. That was one of his gifts.

Sorry to hear of Liam' passing. I just saw him recently in South Windsor. He stopped on Oak St to say high in the old neighborhood. Played a few rounds of golf at Manchester CC and he was always so upbeat. My condolences to his wife and girls.

Dearest Meghan and family,
I am so sad to hear about this terrible loss. Liam was one of the first people I met on the first tee at MCC. He was so kind to me and made me feel so welcomed. I have always remembered his smiley face and warm personality. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I had the privilege of meeting Liam at MCC, and like many others was taken with the warmth and friendliness he had for all the golfers he came in contact with. My sincere condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences. My 1st round of golf at MCC was when I met Liam. By the time we were done I felt like I had known him my whole life, that's the type of engaging person he was.

Janet, Meghan, Colleen and Erin,
So sorry to hear about Liam’s passing. I hope you have some comfort in the memories you have of time spent together.

Liam was a great guy, he and I traveled together when working for Aetna and we had some good times at the Johnson & Wales Inn outside of Fall River while working on operations and budget issues. Our condolences to his family, RIP buddy.
