Peggy, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was born January 26, 1934 to parents Harold and Lucy Brown.
Peggy attended St. Raphael’s School of Nursing where she graduated top of her class. She worked as lead RN at Clinton Nursing Home, as a school nurse, and in Home Health Nursing.
Peggy was a longtime Clinton resident who loved living the farm life with Richard, the love of her life of 43 years. She was an animal lover, an avid bowler, loved reading, and cooking , wearing “Zorries” but most of all being a mentor, and supporter to her 6 children. She was her children’s 4H leader, cheerleader at sporting events, horse and dog shows, would attend school functions and support them in any and all endeavors.
Peggy was preceded in death by parents Harold and Lucy, her husband Richard, and her daughter-in-law Jessica.
She is survived by her 6 children and their spouses; daughter Angela and son-in-law Bill, daughters Cindy and Susan, daughter Christine and son-in-law Scott, daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Scott, and her son Rick.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who adored her 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her guidance, love and passion for her family will be greatly missed by all.
Due to the current pandemic situation a small graveside service will be held for the family with a Celebration of Peggy’s Life to be announced in the future.
