I just realized today that Marian has passed. She was in the room next to my mom's at Chesterfields.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time. Although I did not know Marian I will always remember her beautiful smile.

Our sincere sympathy to Marian's family. Many members have fond memories of Marian when she was a very active member of the Mystic Woman's Club. We truly missed her when she left our organization. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

It was only yesterday, so it seems, that I was interviewed and hired by Marion. That was the spring of 1978. I was newly married and all of 21. Marion was so taken by my "talking hands", I am 100 per cent Italian so needless to say. I was hired as her Secretary in the Cooperative Extension at URI. My fondest memories during that brief year I worked there are of Marion. Being a resident of Florida for the last 37 years, my husband often checks the projo for people we may know. Today he saw Marion had passed. Not only was I so saddened by her passing but the indication she had been stricken with Alzheimer's. Such a vibrant, intelligent woman and mentor for me personally. I kept in touch for awhile til life got too busy, but always thought of her with the fondest of memories. If you don't remember me Gerry it's ok. I never forgot her and always missed her.
