Maryjean Maynard, 53, of Old Saybrook, passed away April 9, 2013 with family by her side. Born on July 29, 1959, the daughter of Mary Jean Maynard, and the late Edward R. Maynard. She leaves behind two daughters Paige Maynard and Britnie Maynard and her 5 beautiful grandchildren. She also leaves behind her companion of 13 years Jon Vickstrom, three brothers Edward, Wendell and George Maynard, three sisters Margaret, Leigh-Bette and Nina Maynard as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be at the Swan Funeral Home 1224 Boston Post Rd., OId Saybrook on Friday April 19th, from 5-7pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday in Riverside Cemetery at 11am, followed by a reception at Fireman’s Field at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Maryjean’s Memorial Fund c/o Swan Funeral Home.
