Born Patricia M. Gibson, to Irish immigrants, Thomas & Margaret O'Shea, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on January 11, 2015. She was the wife of Elmer W. Gibson who predeceased her by 20 years.
She had four children, John Gibson of Virginia; Alfred Gibson of Old Saybrook, CT, who predeceased her in 2012;
Kathleen Damato of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and Mary Greenlaro also of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Patricia is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was a lifetime member of St. John's RC Church in Old Saybrook, CT. She was also a member of The Senior Citizens Estuary Consul in Old Saybrook for many years. She enjoyed the holidays with child like anticipation, especially St. Patrick's Day. Calling hours will be Friday, 5/15 at Swan FH, 1224 Boston Post Rd, Old Saybrook from 11:30 - 12:30pm. Interment will take place at St. Michaels Cemetery in Stratford, CT
