Richard J. Lolatte

Dick was born on October 26, 1938. He was a resident of Old Saybrook, CT for many years.

Dick is survived by his loving wife Julia McNamara Lolatte of Old Saybrook as well as many friends and extended family members. His sons are Richard James (wife Carol), and Timothy (wife Diane). Dick's daughter is Kristen. Dick's grandchildren are Sara, RJ, Austin and Ian Sean.

Dick spent more than 20 years at Albertus Magnus College as Director of Admissions and Financial Aide. He retired in 2014.

Dick loved the outdoors. He loved cars and driving. He loved large sailboats as well as powerboats. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Nantucket (winter and summer!), to Ireland and to the Islands.

Dick was a generous benefactor to charities supporting needy children, homeless persons and charities supporting education.

Dick was a wonderful husband and friend. His joyful smile will be remembered and he will be missed.
