Roger "Bill" William Gedney of East Lyme, CT died peacefully at home Friday, (November 25, 2011). He was born on September 6, 1934 in Purchase, NY. To the late John and Doris (DuBois) Gedney. Along with his wife, Ruth (Brennan) Gedney, he is survived by his sister Jane (Gedney) Huckel, brother Barry Gedney, his cousin Richard Gedney, his son Lee Oliver, daughters Laura (Oliver) Murray, Cassandra (Gedney) Theis and Terry (Gedney) Severn. Bill is also survived by seven grandsons, and three granddaughters and many cousins, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother John Gedney. He will be missed by many.
