Tamera R. Prevost

Tamera R Prevost, age 63, a lifelong resident of Old Saybrook, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 1/12/22 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her devoted family after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Born in New London on June 20, 1958, she was the daughter of Norman and Elizabeth (Green) Prevost. Tami was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was an avid book reader. She enjoyed spending time with her loving companion Rick Mattson and her grandchildren.

Tami was known for her ability to always smile as well as her wit and sarcastic faces. She will be extremely missed by her granddaughter Aubrey as they always held a special bond. Survivors include her parents; brother Norman “Nick” Prevost Jr (Dan Troxell); son, Douglas Prevost (Eve Levi); daughter, Jolene Cronan (Justin) and four grandchildren, Douglas Jr, Jacqueline, Aubrey, and Harleigh. Her loss has left a void in our hearts that will never be filled.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday January 19th from 6-8 PM at the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd. Old saybrook, CT 06475.
