Thomas E. Doak Jr. of Old Saybrook, CT passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on 8/13/15. He was a loving man survived by eight children. Thomas Doak Jr. and wife Paula of Centerbrook, Kathy Mercer and husband Charles of Old Saybrook, Gretchen Duguay and husband Joseph of Middletown, Brenda Haring and husband Michael of Westbrook, Eugene Doak and wife Donna of Niantic, Carroll Doak and wife Suellen of Old Saybrook, Carmen Diley of Clinton, Donna Duthie and husband Jon of Old Saybrook, 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and was pre-deceased by his wife of over 50 years Patricia and three grandchildren. Thomas opened his heart to everyone and welcomed anyone into his family. He also left behind many sons, daughters, and grandchildren that he gladly took in as his own."In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Make A Wish Foundation in his name".
