Born October 3, 1954, in Norwalk, Connecticut, William was the son of Allen and Mary Olean Parkington.
Will was a skilled stone mason for many years and worked throughout Connecticut.
He survived by his two children; Christopher Parkington, and his wife, Tori of Killingworth and Kim Jankiewicz and her husband Chris of Westbrook.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, November 3rd from 4:00 to 6:30 PM at the Swan funeral home, followed by a Prayer Service at 6:30 at the Swan funeral home, 1224 Boston Post Rd. Old Saybrook, CT. Burial will be private.
