

OLD TOWN—Anita C. Jameson, 91, died peacefully October 19, 2012 at a Bangor health care facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 10, 1921 in Old Town a daughter of Edward Fred and Rose-Anna (Brissette) Paradis.
She grew up in great works and attended Old Town schools. On Feb 12, 1942 she married Lester “Woody” Jameson. She enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren and family gatherings and holidays. She enjoyed music, camping, and traveling, especially to Lamoine and Bar Harbor, Prince Edward Island, Canada and Florida and Carribean Cruise. She enjoyed miniature golf, shopping, and yard sales.
She is survived by two children Donna N. Tremble and her husband David of Brewer, and Wayne A. Jameson of Bradley; 2 grandchildren Scott Dupuis and David Jameson and his wife Chelsea; 2 great grandchildren Katelin and Keri Jameson; a brother Maynard Paradis and his wife Juilette and sister-in-law Elizabeth Paradis. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lester “Woody” Jameson on Sept 17, 1982 and by four siblings Armand C. Paradis, Antoinette “Toni” Oak, Honorine “Norine” Lousier, Leland Paradis.

Friends may call 4-7PM Tuesday at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday at Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Holy Family Church, 429 Main St Old Town. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Immediately following the services, all are invited to return to the Holy Family Parish Center for a light luncheon and continued fellowship.
