Betty Ann Dionne

Betty Ann Dionne, 81, passed away September 2, 2021 at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born, August 26, 1940, the daughter of Warren and Alice (Cox) Burr.

Betty was a graduate of Old Town schools. She worked for many years in retail; employed by JC Penney, Jo-Ann Fabrics, and A.C. Moore.

Betty was skilled in arts and crafts. She loved to sew any kind of project, from clothing to kitchen towels; she also loved to knit, making sweaters and mittens for her family. She also enjoyed painting ceramic statues. When she wasn’t working on projects, Betty could be found with a cup of coffee and a good romance book. She was a wonderful mother to her four children and would do anything for her family.

Betty is survived by her husband, Wayne Dionne; her children, Cheryl St. Louis and husband, Steven of Milford, Scott Dionne and wife, Lisa of Milford, Kim Ivey and husband, Rick of Warren, and Mark Dionne of Bangor; grandchildren, Valerie Curtis and husband, Matt and their children, Bailey and Noah, and William Ivey. She is also survived by her siblings, Arlene Brissette, Bucky Burr and Ronald Burr. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters, Esther Hamel and Audrey Howe.

Services will be private for the family.
