Today Betty has happily reunited with Clinton, her childhood sweetheart and husband of 62 years.
Betty was born in a log cabin at the end of the Happy Corner Road in Patten, Maine, under a beautiful view of Mount Katahdin to Walter and Agnes Campbell.
She is survived by four children: Fonda and her husband Paul Violette, Clinton and his wife Lynn, Dolores and her husband Joseph McCluskey, and Dwight and his husband Zachery Frost; 12 dearly beloved grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Melvin Campbell, and a special friend, Anne Marie Shaw, who was a great comfort to her during the last year of her life.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Clinton, in 2013, both her parents, and three brothers: Walter Campbell of Houlton, Vernon Campbell of Alabama, and Milton Campbell of Connecticut.
Betty and Clinton are going home together to rest in Patten, where they grew up, attended school, fell in love, and married.
A service of remembrance will be conducted 1PM Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town where friends may call for 12:00 noon until time of service.
