Brenda Lee Wickett

In Memory of Brenda L. Wickett

Old Town, Maine – Brenda passed peacefully on April 27, 2021 during her battle with Endometrioid Cancer.

Was born to Beverly Sibley on August 3, 1953 and raised by her loving grandparents who she knew as mom and dad, Leonard and Ethel Gothrow. She was raised in Orono, Maine and a graduate of Orono High School. She was also proud to call herself a college graduate of the University of Maine and its onward program to help nontraditional students. Brenda worked for many years at MBNA in Belfast, Maine as well as the University of Maine Credit Union. Upon retirement, she loved being a Grandmother most of all and spending time with her children and family at Schoodic Lake. She was loved and will be missed very much by all who knew her.

Brenda is survived her by son, Richard and wife Jen Wickett, son Brian Wickett and partner Kelly, son Adam Wickett, daughter Alesia and husband Mark Mullaney, her mother Beverly Sibley, brother Bruce Gothrow and wife Linda, brother Robert Coulombe and partner Clara, brother Rick Coulombe and wife Cathy Cashman, brother Timmy Coulombe and wife Syl, brother Gary Coulombe and husband Allen, sister Katherine Emerson and husband Dan, sister Belinda Doucette and husband Clifford, sister Michele Doucette and husband Jamie, sister Cindy Madden, sister-in-law Marlene Gothrow, and grandchildren Jason, Rachel, and Jordan Wickett, and Logan and Mason Mullaney. She is also survived by special friends Patty Wray and Susan McCready.

She is predeceased by Woodbury Sibley husband to Beverly, her sister Cheryl Coulombe, brother David Gothrow and wife Ella, brother Wayne Gothrow, and Grandparents Leonard and Ethel Gothrow.

A graveside service will be conducted 11AM Saturday May 8, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery, Orono.

I worked with Brenda for many years at University Credit Union and considered her a dear friend. She had a presence about her - she was thoughtful and caring, and had the greatest sense of humor. I enjoyed our conversations and endless laughter over the years. My sincere condolences go out to her family and to all who loved her. May you Rest In Peace my sweet friend.
