Catherine Elizabeth “Betty” LeBretton MILFORD-Catherine Elizabeth “Betty” LeBretton, 94, died peacefully October 29, 2019 at an Orono health care facility. She was born July 21, 1925 in Old Town a daughter of Napolean J. and Suzanne A. (Roy) Burke. She was a lifelong resident of the Old Town/ Milford area and will be lovingly remembered as the social butterfly that she was. Betty was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking for her family, making quilts and crafts. Family was important to Betty and she enjoyed the Christmas parties and the annual summer get togethers. She was also a very hardworking woman and was employed as a hand sewer in area shoe shops and later in her career worked in housekeeping at the University of Maine. While at Orono Commons, Betty enjoyed the socializing with other residents and playing Bingo. She was a past member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Betty is survived by two children; son Ronald LeBretton of Plymouth, MA and daughter Carol King and her husband Dan of Old Town; son-in-law Edward “Skip” Rosenbeck of Wilder, VT; ten grandchildren Matthew Stormann and his wife Bobbie, Tim King and his wife Tracy, Amy Kotz and her husband Corey, Aaron King and his wife Dawn, Jonathan LeBretton and his companion Becca, Jeffrey LeBretton and his wife Kathleen, Danielle King, James LeBretton and his wife Krystal, Nathan Rosenbeck, Jennifer Johnson and her husband Dana; 15 great grandchildren; beloved sister Gloria Boucher of Old Town; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Casper in 2008, daughter Deborah Rosenbeck in 2006, daughter-in-law Donna LeBretton in 2012 and a brother Patrick J. Burke . A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10AM Wednesday November 6, 2019 at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. All are invited to return to the Parish hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship.
