OLD TOWN - Clinton O. Higgins, 83, died Dec. 11, 2013, at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his family. He was born Nov. 22, 1930, in Andover, New Brunswick, Canada, a son of Donald and Ada (Dee) Higgins.He proudly served during the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force. Clinton was active for many years coaching youth, the Bangor East Little League baseball for 13 years and won four consecutive League Championships; and eight years for the Old Town Little League softball and won three league championships.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty P. Higgins; two sons, Clinton D. Higgins and his wife, Lynn M. of Bradley, and Dwight S. Higgins-Tripp and spouse, Wyatt Higgins-Tripp, of Orono; two daughters, Fonda J. (Higgins) Violette and her husband, Paul, of Fayette, and Dolores A.
