

OLD TOWN AND VEAZIE—Donald E. Foster, 84, died October 3, 2012 at a Boston hospital. He was born August 14, 1928 in Old Town the son of Carl and Lenora (Randall) Foster and a step-son of Nora Dionne.
He was employed in several area businesses full and part-time in addition to being employed at James River, as an electrician, retiring in 1990. He was injured on the job at James River in 1980 and dealt with leg injuries until his death. Don will be remembered as a man of integrity, a good husband, father, grandfather and one who enjoyed talking and being with everyone.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Doucette) Foster; two sons Stephen D. Foster and his wife Mary of San Antonio, TX, and Timothy Foster and his wife Rhonda of Old Town; two daughters Deborah Hamel and her husband Bruce of Milford and Susan Howland of New York; 10 grandchildren Christopher Foster, David Foster, Jacob Foster, Kristie Foster, Matthew Foster, Derek Hamel, Kimberly Rogers, Cheryl Howland, Aric Howland, and Traci Howland; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, nephew Tommy Foster and his wife Donna of FL. He was predeceased by his first wife Dorothy V Blair; son David, his parents, brother Richard and his pal dog Rusty.
