OLD TOWN—Douglas Roland Fitzgerald, 58, died unexpectedly December 1, 2021 at his residence. He was born November 15, 1963 in Lee a son of Harold and Frances (Nelson) Fitzgerald.
Doug was a very loving and big hearted person. He was employed in custodial services at the Levenson Center and at Ross Manor. He enjoyed the companionship of his dogs Lucy and Sandy. He enjoyed building things.
He is survived by two sisters Eleanor White and her husband David, Karen Ketch and her husband Stephen, brother Andy Fitzgerald and his wife Charlotte; best friend Susan Gum; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, the love of his life Ruth Francis, brother Rocky Fitzgerald, and sister Priscilla Fitzgerald.
