Milford- Edwin A Shirland, 81, died November 11, 2013 at a Bongor Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 1 1932 in Milford Maine a son of Frederick and Emma Jean(Treadwell) Shirland.
Edwin left this world to be with his mother and God. Edwin will be sadly missed by his family, the McDonalds gang and the girl’s at Milford One Stop.
Edwin leaves behind a younger brother Waldo Shaffer and his wife Linda of Milford, a sister Willa Serasenni and husband Alfred of New York, special niece Laurie Ann Savoy of Milford and very special friends Royce and Harriet Lugdon.
Edwin was employed by Striar Textile Mill in Orono as a skilled laborer where he worked for more than 55 years.
Private services will be held graveside at Milford Cemetery.
