Elaine Michaud

Orrington/Milford – Elaine (Sheridan) Michaud, 73, passed away peacefully March 28, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Elaine was born on February 9, 1942 in Hartford, Connecticut, the daughter of the late John and Jane (Patterson) Sheridan.

Elaine was a homemaker for several years and was an active member of the Daughters of Isabella from the Holy Family Parish in Old Town. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who she was taught several different cards games and learned to be very patient playing by the “kids” rules. She was a green thumb and loved watching her plants and flowers grow. She enjoyed watching wildlife in her backyard and especially loved watching birds from her window, and she had a very special love for butterflies.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 47 years Ralph, three sons; Ralph Michaud II, Kevin Michaud and wife Chante, Erik Michaud and Wife Amy; grandchildren, Kiersten, Hailey, Ethan, Sarah; sisters Joan Andrews, Barbara Ryszkowski, and Patti Mahoney; special sister in-laws, Linda Van De Bogart, Marilyn and Margaret Michaud and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends may call Sunday April 5, from 5-7 at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St. Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10amMonday April 6, at The Parish of the Resurrection of The Lord, Holy Family Church.
