

Dixmont—Gerald R. Lincoln, Sr., 75, died peaceful with family by his side March 21, 2021. He was born June 1, 1945 in Bangor a son of Leslie P. Sr. and Lula I. (Hichborn) Lincoln.
Gerald married Faith (Young) on February 29, 1964. Gerald loved his time with his family and his dog. He enjoyed summer at camp at Eskutassis Lake and spending winters in Florida. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and occasionally four wheeling. He loved to ride his Harley and grabbing a McDonald’s coffee. He was employed at area shoe shops, worked as a machinist for GE for 15 years before opening his own business, Lincoln Machine, in 1984. He was a life member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Faith; four children, Gerald Lincoln Jr and his wife Vanessa, Gregory Lincoln and his wife Kim, Gary Lincoln Sr. and his wife Betty and a daughter Bambi Lincoln; seven grandchildren that called him Bampus, Amber Horr and her husband Avery, Noelle Lincoln, Maegan Johnston and her husband Brian, Devin Lincoln, Gary Lincoln Jr., Taylor Lincoln and his wife Sharon and Nicholas Lincoln; 4 great grandchildren Kaylee and Dalaney Horr, Lily Johnston, and Jordan Lincoln; six siblings Lois Strout, Priscilla McPheters, Leslie Lincoln Jr. and his wife Susan, Evelyn Robbins and her husband Ralph, Doris Whitaker, David Lincoln and his wife Wanda; special nephew Allen Paradis; his in-laws Ashley Young Jr. and his wife Sue, Krista “The Snitch” Richards, David Young and his wife Missy, and Cheryl Wood; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by six siblings Charles Lincoln, Irma Ellis, Blanche Barnes, Isabelle Weston, Alice Dolley, and Carolyn Reed.
In compliance with CDC guidelines, please observe social distancing and wear a face covering. Please be aware that space may be limited at times to maintain the state mandated limits on the number of people allowed for an indoor gathering. Friends may call 5-8PM Friday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town where a funeral service will be conducted 1PM Saturday. A spring graveside service will be announced at Alton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a cancer charity of one’s choice.
